Basilica Holy Grave Santo Sepolcro
The Basilica of the Holy Grave is one of Barletta principal churches. Placed in a strategic position the basilica was visited by pilgrims going to the holy earth and the crusaders during their journey from Barletta harbour toward Jerusalem. The Present building is the result of numerous and millenary transformations.
The Swabian Castle
The majestic monument was built in four periods: The Norman (sec XII, the Swabian (XIII sec.)The Angevin One (XIII XIV sec.)And Spanish (XVI sec.)castle .Il rises to the margins of the ancient part of the town in closeness of the sea. Inside his one find, at present, a library, a museum. The cathedral
Placed in Barletta old city centre and close to the Swabian castle the Cathedral of Holy Maria Maggiore was the main centre of Barletta religious life. It is a complex organism composed by two distinct parts, that is a part of typically Romanesque style and the far side in Gothic. His building was begun in 1126 and continued for centuries giving shape to a really particular structure. It represents one of the few harmonious examples between two different stylistic examples.

Barletta Colossus
Barletta Eraclio colossus; a Byzantine emperor represented with a statue in bronze 5 m tall probably Teodosio II. The statue is placed to the next center of the town to the church of the Holy grave. A legend affirms that the statue had been thrown on the beach of Barletta town by a Venetian ship coming back from Byzantium after the sack of the 1204. Eraclio represents the symbol of Barletta town.
Palace of the Marra
Placed in the old city centre of Barletta town the Palace is one of the most prestigious examples of baroque architecture in Apulia. The palace dates back to 16th century and used to be the residence of important aristocratic families, Today the palace is the seat of the picture-gallery of famous Giuseppe De Nittis 'impressionism.

The Cellar of the challenge
This medieval lodging was the place in which the Italian knights were offended by the French. Reaction of this offence was an epic clash between 13 Italian and 13 French knights. The Italians, guided by Ettore Fieramosca, won the French knights, guided by La Motte. This historical event had also a role in the formation of the Italian People ,which did not have a geographic official territory at the time territory, but already shared a common culture .
Canes of the Battle
Canes was the town where the biggest battles of the antiquity between the biggest two powers Rome and Carthage; the battle had to decide the supremacy on the Mediterranean Sea. The Cane Clapper was the theatre of the biggest defeat of the Roman empire of the Carthaginian imperial army in 216 B.C.
